Meet The Golf USA Omaha Team 

Jason Gomez - Owner

Jason began working at Golf USA Omaha in 2002, and over the last twenty years he has progressed from part-time employee to owner. Jason has gained extensive club fitting experience and is considered one of the premier fitters in the area. Jason has trained with numerous retail and golf professionals, utilizing various technology including ForeSight, FlightScope, TechniFit, Achiever, and TrackMan.

Jason has also spent time working as a technical representative for TourEdge/Exotics Golf, Cleveland Golf, and Mizuno Golf, serving Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and Missouri. Jason was an integral part of Golf USA being named a Top 100 Club Fitter in the nation by Mizuno Golf on six separate occasions.

Jason received his credentials as a golf instructor from the United States Golf Teaching Federation in December of 2007.  He has coached thousands of golfers of all skill levels and enjoys helping every golfer reach their full potential.

Jason also donates his time to many charitable organizations, primarily the DREAM foundation; introducing elementary school students to golf.

Dustin Hampton - General Manager

Dustin began working at Golf USA Omaha in July of 2016 as a part time employee. With his background as a diesel mechanic in the US Army, repair work came pretty naturally to him.  As our repair business continued to grow, Dustin was promoted to the full time Repair Manager in March of 2019.  His efforts were integral in continuing to grow our repair business, and in May 2021 Dustin was promoted to the General Manager of the store.

JR Reyes - Head Golf Professional

Rodolfo S. Reyes Jr., known to most as JR, was born in San Diego, CA, but grew up in various locations including Japan, California, and Texas.  He started golf in Japan at age 11, and excelled at an early age.  JR graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, CA and helped take his team to the State Championships for the first-time in RBHS's history.

JR was offered a golf scholarship and started his collegiate career at Midland, Texas, earning All-American honors.  He then transferred to California State University where he earned two trips to the NCAA Regional Tournament and was also named the "Verizon All-American" Student Athlete of the Year in 2003.

After graduating with degree in International Business, he attended the University of Southern California for graduate work in Leadership Studies, while also working in Pasadena, California at Brookside Golf Club as the Tournament Operations Manager.  In 2007, he transferred to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln to continue his graduate work.

JR has numerous golf accolades, including:  Attendee at David Leadbetters Golf Academy at Champions Gate in Orlando, Fl, 2009, Internship program with Marius Filmater / Chris Oconnell, and contestant of the Golf Channel's Big Break at Disney in 2010.

From 2010 to 2013 JR worked as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, IA.  In 2015 he headed the Mitchell Spearman Junior Program at Belmont C.C., and from 2016-2018 he served as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Country Club of Fairfax, VA .

In 2018 JR returned to Nebraska with his wife Amber and two sons, Maddox and Niko, and served as the Teaching Professional at Shoreline Golf Course and Dodge Riverside Golf Club.  In 2021 JR joined the GolfUSA team as the Head Golf Professional.
